Bates Motel Opens in West Logan DECEMBER 07 - A new training prop is open for business at the Logan-Cache Fire Training Center. Dubbed the "Bates Motel" by Asst. Chief Jeff Peterson, the prop features an eighty-foot hallway with three rooms on each side, and fires can be ignited anywhere in the structure. NLFD Firefighters Attend ARFF Training DECEMBER 07 - North Logan Firefighters spent a week at the Salt Lake International Airport, training with the SLCFD on strategy and tactics of aircraft firefighting and other aircraft emergencies. About a third of the training involved classroom time which focused on aircraft / airport familiarization, FAA regulations, and firefighting methods.
